A simple yet elegant tall teapot made from spalted sycamore with black walnut spout, handle and lid crowned by deer antler. The spout and handle are hand carved. Finish is tung oil and citrus thinners. 20cm high x 17cm wide.
Made from one piece of kwila with an ebony finial. 160l x 70w x 150h. The mix of catenary curves blend to hold a suspended form which has been embellished to draw the eye. The finial represents the spire on an Asian temple.
This box is made from a single piece of totara. The tui is the handle of the box, his eyes are made of paua shells. The piece is finished with Danish oil. Dimensions are L 250 mm x W 120 mm x H 150 mm.
