This wood was pulled from a river in the Central North Island where it had fallen decades earlier.  This has caused the colours to be a lot more distinct.  Size:  145mm wide x 80mm high.  Finish:  Danish Oil

Bushnell's Turtle Pepper Mill.

Inspired by America's first military submarine designed in 1776 by David Bushnell.  Deployed on Sept 6th it reached the HMS Eagle but failed to attach the explosives.  Materials: Oak, Matai, Epoxy, Brass, Crush-grind Mechanism, Acrylic & lacquer finish, 210mm High.
