Puriri stump bowl with crazy grain and lots of voids, on plain swamp kauri base. Looks great at night with seed lights inside   428 mm H x 204 mm W. Base 88 mm. Finished with Triple E and wax

A stunning rimu platter that anyone would enjoy having as a show piece on their table, sanded with linseed oil through each grit then two coats of Shellawax polish. W=370 mm and H=40mm.

Figured grey gum, Eucalyptus punctata, bowl. 19 cm diameter by 4 cm tall. Finished with Danish oil and buffed.  The title of this piece comes from the nature of this wood, it is extremely hard and figured. 

Lovely contrasting heart to sapwood grained salad bowl. Finely turned from recycled Tasmanian blackwood timber.  240mm diameter x 60mm deep.  Finished with food safe tung oil.  A simply elegant designed and executed bowl to enhance the dinner table.

This young rimu (Dacrydium cupressinum) died to make space for more cars.  Now it is a salad bowl big enough for all.  Finish is Beall buff.  Size 280mm wide and 150 high.

This Tasmanian blackwood platter has beautiful patterns very colorful and looks like a natural painting.  It can be placed on a stand (pedestal) or used as a wall hanging too.   D: 300 mm, H: 27 mm.

The interior contrasts with its darker, charred exterior, emphasising the natural beauty and unique characteristics.  Base cut with a 2 1/4" Forstner bit and pine insert with my laser cut logo.  Diameter: 14cm Height: 10 cm

Undercut pohutukawa bowl. 285mm w x 85mm h. Base 77mm. Finished with Triple E and wax. 

Four sided square bowl from swamp kauri.   Found at Bayleys Beach, Dargaville.  Finished with a French polish/shellac.  W = 240mm / H= 55mm
