Black walnut . Chisel carved, sanded down to 400 grit, 2 coats Danish oil, 4 coats Briwax, hand buffed.  Trickiest part to do were the grapes and tendril.  Length 320mm, Width 265mm, Depth 68mm.

Carved from cherry root with Dremel sanding on interior. Turned mahogany handle.  Hand sanded to 400grit. Finished with two coats Danish oil and four of Briwax, hand polished.  Sculptured edge is natural root surface.  Length 200mm, Width 105mm, Depth 86mm.

Driftwood matai.  Chisel carved, spine and underside sanded to 400grit. Fern leaves chisel shaped and leaflets V chiseled. Finished with one coat Danish oil and two coats Briwax.  Attached to wall using  tapered dovetail.  Length 595mm, Width 73mm, Depth 25mm.
