Bespoke knife rack, 900mm. 50yo rosemary, grown, dried, and sawn on the property. Nitrocellulose finish, vintage brass mounting screws. Rear mounted neodymium magnets allowing an uninterrupted natural timber appearance. Untold hours invested in planning, custom tool production, testing and refining.
Wig stand approximately 150mm X 350mm. Eight species of wood. Collar dyed with U-Beaut water based black dye. Hand engraved dog tag also made by the author. Finished with a combination of polyurethane and U-Beaut Glow Shellawax.

Wahaika are traditional Māori hand weapons used in close combat--a useful domestic item for protection and security. Made from recycled rimu door frame. The carved figure represents Hine-te-iwaiwa, the spiritual guardian of weaving, childbirth, cycles of the moon, and women.
